We are Maasterclass, a multi-disciplined collective of driven artists and designers operating out of Maastricht, Netherlands. The glue that binds our collective together is comprised of a mutual need to inspire each other, a desire for beneficial cooperation and growth, and an urgent need to present our finished works to as wide a selection of people as possible. Our aim is to continually reintroduce ourselves to you through a combination of planned exhibitions as well as through guerilla-inspired artist activities and installations.Our group consists of young, talented, international artists hailing from the Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Germany, and Croatia. We are all graduates, from a wide-range of disciplines, of the Academy of Fine Arts in Maastricht. Besides the work of the individual members, Maasterclass is also developing a visionary concept through art works and installations by combining the strength and dynamics of each member and the different disciplines to show the surplus value of the collective. Maasterclass strives to become a platform for national as well as international artists to display their cultural and artistic initiatives. Maasterclass wants to connect artists and a diverse audience through social and cultural projects. Furthermore, Maasterclass will continue to actively contribute to the development of the creative industry in Maastricht and throughout the Meuse-Rhine euro region.
